What you'll do

ZeroShadow is seeking skilled crypto sleuths to join our Incident Response Crypto Tracing and Investigations team. This pivotal role involves tracing, tracking, and reporting on stolen funds as they traverse various blockchains, unraveling complex digital trails to secure and recover assets. Our team operates at the cutting edge of cryptocurrency investigations, leveraging proprietary technology and deep industry knowledge to detect and dissect security breaches.

As a vital member of this unit, you will collaborate with a network of Web3 partners to pinpoint and freeze illicit transactions, preventing further financial loss and facilitating the recovery of assets for our clients. What you'll bring

Must-haves

• Tracing Experience: Applicants should have at least 2 years hands-on experience with blockchain analysis and the ability to track and investigate cryptocurrency transactions. Familiarity with TRM, tracing tools, and methodologies used to trace digital assets across various platforms is crucial.
• Open Source Investigations: Ability to use off-chain indicators such as IP data, domains, and connections to other known exploits to narrow in on attack vector and threat actor details.
• Report Writing Skills: Strong written communication skills are essential for producing clear, concise, and detailed reports on investigation findings. Candidates must be adept at synthesizing complex data into understandable and actionable information for various stakeholders.
• Curiosity: A natural inclination to question, explore, and investigate new or unfamiliar details is vital. The ideal candidate will possess an investigative mindset that drives them to dig deeper and uncover the truth behind digital transactions.
• Cyber Threat Landscape Experience: Knowledge of the current cyber threat environment, including common attack vectors and potential security breaches within the blockchain space. This understanding helps in proactively identifying risks and mitigating threats to digital assets.
• We are specifically looking for a candidate based in the Americas or able to work during US working hours with strong English-language skills.
